Missioner & Interns

CANTERBURY CAMPUS INTERNS:  Full-time, post-graduate leaders who live in-residence at our Canterbury Houses at Kansas State University (Manhattan, KS) and University of Kansas (Lawrence, KS).  Under the guidance and support of the Campus Missioner, they lead a team of Peer Ministers in those campus communities, as well as offer periodic support to other diocesan campus ministry programs.  Please note, that both the St. Anselm and St. Francis Canterbury Houses are currently in a search process for their next intern for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Dillon Green is the current intern at the St. Francis Canterbury House in Manhattan, Kansas and works with the campus population at Kansas State University. Originally from Florence, Alabama, Dillon received his Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages with concentrations in French and Spanish and a minor in International Studies from the University of North Alabama (UNA) in 2015. He attended Trinity Episcopal Church in Florence, Alabama (Diocese of Alabama) and was a member of the executive council for UNA’s Episcopal Campus Ministry. He was also very involved in Diocesan work, attending the Diocese of Alabama’s annual convention three times, once as an alternate delegate and once as a delegate for UNA Campus Ministries. Dillon hopes to use this internship opportunity to discern where God is calling him next in his career and in his life.

Ryan Zavacky

Ryan Zavacky is the current intern for the St. Anselm Canterbury House in Lawrence, Kansas for the campuses of University of Kansas, Haskell University, and Baker College.  Ryan comes to us form St. John’s Episcopal Church in Alma, Michigan (Diocese of Eastern Michigan), where he attend Alma College and received his Bachelors of Arts in Religious Studies in 2014.  He is also a recent alumni of the Young Adult Service Corps (YASC) with the National Episcopal Church, where he serviced in Grahamstown, South Africa with the Brothers of the Order of the Holy Cross at the their school,  Holy Cross School.  Ryan is currently starting his discernment process for the priesthood while in Kansas, and hopes to be ordained in the future.
